Bluebonnet!

There's a bluebonnet blooming in our front yard! Just one. There are more coming up so maybe we'll have more blooms in the next couple of weeks.

There are lots of seeds out there, but winter was just a wee bit dry this year in Texas. I bet somebody gets a bunch of bluebonnets next year after it rains.

Not dead


The cordial was good... after you got to the last half of the glass. But, man, was it strong! You had to brace yourself for every sip. We haven't brought ourselves to drink any more of it yet.

I did find out that blackberry cordial is supposedly good for sore throats. So maybe I'll save it for medicinal purposes... Or, maybe I'll share with a friend.
